Position Description: Intern Consultant



The Opportunity

Looking for your first step into industry? We'd love to help you get there. This unpaid internship is designed for applicants who are ready to commence their first internship.

This role will commence late July to mid-October 2026 in our Nunawading office.



You will get hands on experience in a real workshop working with power tools ie welding skills, real interpersonal (EQ) skill development and ongoing mentoring. You will get the opportunity to contribute to live recruitment from day one, and speak to industry clients related to your discipline.

What can you gain

  • Good introductory experience to help bridge theorical concepts learnt during university studies to the real world and industry.
  • Two weeks of study leave. Ie time of for assessment period.
  • Communicate to clients related to your industry, to help recruit interns such as yourself.

  • Hybrid training between engineering/sales.
  • At least of 80 hours of intensive sales, people, communication, professional skills training.
  • At least of 80 hours of hands-on workshop training – welding, plcs, soldering, drilling, mark measure cut, bandsaw, spanners, sockets, reverse engineering and much more.



What are we looking for

  • Australian citizen/Permanent resident.
  • Be able to commute to our Nunawading office at a max of 45 minutes.
  • Availability of 2 days per week, from 0815 for 0830 start to 1600 finish.
  • Currently studying in your penultimate or final year, or a recent graduate, in one of the following disciplines: Mechatronics, Electrical/ Electronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil engineering.
  • Access to steel-capped safety boots & work pants.
  • Comfortable with cold calling (training will be provided) but you still must be willing to give it a go.
